Our Family each wrote a few words about Betty: ¬I loved her Smile, she always had a smile for everyone. Always happy to see everyone Son in law Chuck said something smart and Betty threw ice water on him, and she only gave the middle finger 1 time and it was to him Mother was always there for whomever was in need of anything. She put everyone else before herself. Best Grandma in the world! She always made me smile no matter the day or mood. I will love you always! You were very nice and a very good grandma. I loved her kindness and her gentle heart. She always had an open ear to listen and talk with anyone. I will remember your big heart and that you were always there for everyone. The best thing I remember about Betty is that she was loving and caring no matter what. She was always greeting you with a smile, I will love and miss her. My favorite thing was going over to Sissy and Scott’s for Halloween. We all loved going trick or treating and getting to see Grandma Betty. Every time I asked Grandma to go to the strip club she would say no and laugh at me! A kinder more loving woman there isn’t one. I will always hear you tell me that you love me more! I love you Grandma! My favorite memory of Grandma Betty is the way she would smile when the little ones would give her hugs! She was the best! My favorite memory is when I gave her a picture and you said I was handsome. She is the very best! My favorite memory was when she was excited for us to come over to be with her. She was the sweetest woman I’ve ever met. She accepted my kids as if they were her own grandchildren, and she always gave kindness to everyone. She always treated everyone like family even if you weren’t blood. She never said a bad word about anyone and her potato salad was awesome! Loved us with everything she had, love you more than you will ever know. The best memory of my Mom is her being my Mom! Couldn’t ask for a better Mom! Grandma loved us by choice. She didn’t have too but she did. She wanted us. There is something special about that. Grandma would come to the Chocolate Rose in Wellington with her senior group. She always complimented us cooks on the bread pudding, her favorite. When the ladies would get short with each other, she was the only one to bring calm back to the table. I always saw her as the Matriarch of not only friends but our family. My most fondest memory of Betty, she was the very first adult person to actually tell me that she loved me! I thought what’s this love thing she’s talking about? She always always showed unconditional love to all of her kids and everybody she knew! She had the biggest heart! I will never ever be able to thank her enough, for all the love and kindness that she showed me! One more thing, Birthday dinners, she always fixed our favorite meal every birthday! A tradition I carry on with my child. The memory I enjoyed the most is her laugh, she was the sweetest and most gentle soul. The last time I saw Grandma, we went up to horsetooth and I cried because I thought it was going to be the last time. And she said I’ve been telling your Mom for years, it all takes some time but everybody always makes it back home and I’ll be here waiting for you! What I will remember most about grandma is when we would all go up to Estes Park for our routine family trip. Grandma would always get those different flavored little taffy candies. Grandma loved to have everybody around, it made her happy and proud. The thing I remember most was her beautiful name. Betty Belle, even today when I say it Brings me comfort. She took care of me like I was her own kid. I always enjoyed seeing her and she always made me feel welcome. She had a wonderful life and we will sure miss her.
