Zella Yoder Schneider

Zella Yoder Schneider, 89, passed away January 31, 2015. Zella was born November 18, 1925 in Aurora, Kansas to Ferdinand & Lorette Marcotte.

She married Francis Yoder on January 14, 1948 in Concordia, Kansas. After his death in 1981, she married Richard Schneider.

She loved to travel, sing and be with her family. She enjoyed singing with the Senior Harmonettes of Fort Collins. She was a homemaker and enjoyed helping people. She volunteered at various places and also was a caregiver to the elderly.

Survivors include her daughters, JoAnne (Barry) McKenna, TX, Sharon (Dale) Minch, CO and Mary (Allan) Roth, AZ; her son, Steven (Mary) Yoder, CO; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; her sisters, Goldie (Earl) Johnson, Marce (Gaylord) Chizek and Lorena (Jerry) Schad, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her husbands, Francis Yoder and Richard Schneider and her parents.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Flowers, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her favorite charity the American Breast Cancer Foundation in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Fort Collins, Colorado 80524.

Viewing will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday with visitation from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. A Rosary will be held at 9:00 a.m. Monday followed at 9:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens Cemetery.
