Ysidoro G. Gutierrez, Sr.

Ysidoro G. Gutierrez, Sr. 73, of Fort Collins, died September 2, 2011 at his home. Mr. Gutierrez was born April 4, 1938 in San Marcos, Texas to Benancio and Beatrice Gutierrez. Ysidoro married Estella Salazar on September 28, 1958 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Mr. Gutierrez lived in Fort Collins for 51 years. He collected cars, enjoyed casinos, gambling, boxing and westerns. He also loved to barbeque. Survivors include his wife, Estella; sons, Ysidoro Gutierrez, Jr. of Lakewood, Colorado, Steven Gutierrez of Greeley, Julian Gutierrez of fort collins, Rebecca Gutierrez of Fort collins, Sylvia Gutierrez of Greeley and Elizabeth Gresham of Lakewood; numerous nieces and nephews; seventeen grand children and twenty one great-grand children. Ysidoro had a total of 10 brothers and 13 sisters. A Rosary Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Eaton Cemetery Those who desire may view Mr. Gutierrez, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Monday and 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
