Yolanda F. Ayala, 77, of Fort Collins, died Sept. 22, 2007, at her residence. Mrs. Ayala was born Nov. 24, 1929, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Jose Flores and Revecca Flores. Yolanda married Vincente V. Ayala on Dec. 21, 1946, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Mrs. Ayala moved to Fort Collins in 1950. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, who enjoyed cooking, visiting with her friends and shopping. Survivors include her husband, Vincente V. Ayala; a son, Joseph Ayala of Loveland; a half brother, Roberto Flores of Chicago, Ill.; two half sisters, Socorro Lozano and Francisca both of Larado, Texas; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceding Yolanda in death were her parents, and a son, Francisco Ayala. A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Father Damian de la Cruz, C.R. will officiate. Those who desire may view Mrs. Ayala from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Thursday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
