Wolfgang (Wolf) Franz Wegner, 74, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025 at his home in Fort Collins with his beautiful wife Linda of 60 years by his side.

Wolfgang Wegner was born in Germany on October 21, 1950 to Bruno and Margaret Wegner. He was the 4th of 5 children. His family came to the United States when he was 1 ½ years of age and landed in Wiggins, Colorado. His family moved to Fort Collins in 1958 where his father built their home on 609 Wood Street (which is still there). Wolf and Linda met at the age of 15 and became high school sweethearts. They later married and had 5 children; Debbie, Heidi, Wolf, Heather, and Holly.

Wolf was a Developer and General Contractor and built several beautiful homes in Fort Collins. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the Broncos, building homes, fishing, and woodworking. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, Linda.

Wolf was a man of faith and was known for his hard work, love for his family, and his love for the Lord. He is survived by his wife Linda of sixty years. His children; Debbie (Bob) Schroeder, Heidi (Rob) Nelson, Wolf Wegner, Heather Wegner, and Holly (Isaac) Gonzales. His Grandchildren; Lexi (Jaz) Myerly, Jay (Kierra) Schroeder, Lauren Schroeder, Hunter Nelson, Madyssen Nelson, Ashlyn Wegner, Hailey Wegner, Amberlee Wegner, Morgan (Kevin) Rangel, and Isaac Gonzales. Great Grandchildren; Chase Myerly, Braxton Myerly; Adriel Rangel, Avayla Rangel, and Kortez Rangel. He was preceded in death by his parents; Bruno and Margaret Wegner; brother Pete Wegner; and grandson Christopher Schroeder.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th, at 1:00 p.m. at Vintage City Church, 1501 Academy Ct. Ste 101, Fort Collins, CO 80524.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family in lieu of Bohlender Funeral Chapel.

Wolf's kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him. One of his favorite sayings was "piece of cake."
