Winifred Yowa

Winifred Marie Yowa of Fort Collins died Sunday morning, March 15, 2009, at age 84. Interment will take place in Maple Shade, N.J. Winifred was born Feb. 22, 1925, in Consho-hocken, Pa., to Walter and Frances Beaver. She married Frank Yowa on July 26, 1947, in Maple Shade, N.J. Winnie worked at RCA in Camden, N.J., for seven years. There she met her husband, Frank, and settled down to full-time homemaking. She was a kind and loving lady who enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and spending time with family. She was a devout Catholic who has returned home to the Lord. May she be remembered fondly by all those who knew her. Survivors include her son, Anthony Yowa and daughter-in-law, Sharon Yowa of Masonville; two brothers, Jim Beaver of Darlington, England and Fred Beaver of Mt. Laurel, N.J.; a sister, Dorothy Norton of Bossier City, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews, near and far. Preceding Winnie in death is her husband, Frank.
