Willene F. Stoll

Willene F. Stoll died peacefully Tuesday evening, January 28th at Hospice of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado after a brief battle with cancer. Willene was born November 4, 1927 to Marian and Godfrey Weber on the family farm in Okene, Oklahoma. She was an only child. Even so, she was surrounded by uncles and aunts and cousins who gathered frequently. Later, the family relocated to Windsor and when her father passed away during her junior year of high school the family moved to Greeley. Willene graduated from Greeley High School and attended Barnes Business School in Denver. She and her sweetheart, Reinhold Ralph, were married 67 years, and together they raised two daughters Barbara and Susan. During her life she worked at the Windsor Great Western Sugar Company, as well as completed several years working at Colorado State University as an Administrative Assistant. Willene was a life-long member of the American Legion auxiliary , member of Rebekah Lodge, and AHSGR. She enjoyed bowling and golf, as well as a fervent love for the mountains and fishing. She was an accomplished pianist and taught lessons later in life. A multitalented person, she quilted and enjoyed playing bridge, as well as painting and gardening. She lives on through her husband, Reinhold, her daughters and their husbands, Barbara Nelson Mike and Susan Mireles John, grandchildren Julia Aaron, Sara, Mitchell, Melissa, Michelle Aaron, Maria Anthony, and Miranda, Great-grandchildren Bryan, Jacob, Nathan, and William. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Harold Stoll Laura and two sisters-in-law, Pauline Lehr and Dorothy Stoll. Willene was a very determined, intelligent, honest and loving woman. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother with a charming sense of humor. She loved the Lord and will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
