Willard Wright passed away at his home in Fort Colins, Colorado on February 14, 2025 at the age of 94. He was born in Witchita, Kansas to Charlie and Iva Wright.
He was preceeded in death by both of his parents, all six of his siblings, his wife Eileen, two sons Barry and Butch and two son in laws, Kevin and Jim.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Wright, his children and spouses, Chris, Barb, Amy (Rod), Kay (Bryan), Bert (Myra), Gail (Dave) and Carrie, two daughter in laws, Carol and Maxine, a brother in law Steve,a sister in law Jackie and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Willard was the owner of Willard Wright Plumbing and Heating company in fort Collins for several decades. He gave many of his own family and extended family the opportunity for employment in his business as plumbers in the field and also as office employees. Through the years, several family members have continued on, in opening their own plumbing businesses.
For many years of his life, Willard has been an avid collector of antique cars and has enjoyed restoring them.
Willard will be remembered for his generosity in giving of his time, talents and resources for helping others, as he saw a need. He had fond memories of trips to Hawaii with his wife Janice to help build several churches there. He loved visiting with people everywhere he went, and made friends easily.
Most of all, Willard loved time spent with his family. He was a good man and will be greatly missed by all who loved and respected him.
A celebration of life will be held at Timberline Church in Fort Collins, Colorado on March 6, at 11am.
