William "Bill" Wayne Rumley passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the age of 73.
He was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on October 27, 1943 to Marion and Leona Rumley. He had three brothers Jack (Helen), Bert (Vickie) and Bud Rumley. He was truly one of the greatest people we knew. He could light up the room like a Rockstar. He never met a stranger and he won the hearts of everyone, with his corky jokes and great sense of humor. His purpose in life was making people laugh and what a quality that is to share. He graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1962. He met the love of his life Roberta Yockey at his brother, Jack and her sister, Helen's wedding in 1958. They were then married on June 14, 1964 in Fort Collins. Bill was a salesman at Briarwood Furniture. He was such a great salesman he could "sell sunshine to a snowman". He then become an arborist for Kincaid Tree Surgery, where he retired after 29 years. He then became a stay-at-home great grandpa to his buddy, Carlos. He belonged to the Moose
Lodge #275 for 38 years
