Wendell Phillip Taylor

Wendell Phillip "Phil" Taylor, 68, passed away June 24, 2018 near his home in Fort Collins, Colorado. Born in Winfield Kansas, the son of Lilburn and Doris Taylor (Caldwell). Phil attended school in Great Bend, Kansas and as soon as possible Phil traveled. He never stayed one place long until he settled in Fort Collins, Colorado. Always a free spirit, hardworking, loving person. He was a huge outdoorsman and had many dear friends. For most to know him was to love him rather it was a human or a critter of any sort. He had a natural musical talent and got a big kick out of his leather hats that he made, calling them the "Philbilly Hat"

Preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy; both of his parents; sister, Sharon Taylor (Schmidt); brother, John Taylor, Sr.; nephew, John Taylor Jr.

Survivors include many close friends both in Great Bend Kansas and in Fort Collins Colorado. He has 3 nieces that just adore him, Taylor Taylor of Phoenix, Arizona, Christy (Darrel) Goddard of Freeman, Missouri, and Jennifer Taylor of Kansas City, Missouri.

We are granting his wish to not have services as he didn't want anyone to be sad for him.
