Listen to Obituary
Wayne Williams was called home April 19th after a long hard fought battle with ALS.

Wayne was born November 8, 1962 in Russellville, Arkansas to Ken and Patsy Williams. Ken was a career serviceman and the family moved around the country and the world throughout Wayne's childhood including 2 years living in Thailand. The family settled in Martinez, California in 1970 where Wayne went to school. After high school Wayne worked in a lumber yard. He joined the Army in 1983 and was stationed in Idar-Oberstein, Germany for 3 years. He went to work for Grumman, a company that built fire engines and in 1987 he had an accident which broke his back. Unable to return to work, Wayne moved to Russellville, Arkansas to live with family. In 1995 Wayne and his mother, Patsy moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to live with his sister, Janet. In 1996 Wayne met the girl next door, Stacy and her children, Izzy and Justice. They moved to Loveland in 1997. Wayne and Stacy were married March 3, 2000. They soon welcomed their son, Jacob. Wayne was among the pioneers of the "stay at home dad" and was once self-proclaimed "Leader of the Mini-Van gang". He was proud of his children and community. He enjoyed collecting stuff. Rocks, military memorabilia, action figures, knives, and flashlights were his favorites. He loved the mountains, animals, the outdoors, and being with family and friends but above all he loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy; daughter, Elizabeth; two sons, Justice (Santana), and Jacob; grandson, Odin and granddaughters, Chrysanthemum and Freya; two sisters, Janet Reed (Robert), and Debra Gallamore (Joel), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 27th at 1:00 p.m. at the Majestic Gathering Place, 315 E 4th St. Loveland, Co 80537.
