Walter Daniel Pilkington Sr.

Walter Daniel Pilkington, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on June 14, 2015. He passed away at home after a long illness with Emphysema. Walter was born on May 28, 1940 to Claude and Elsie Pilkington in Laird, CO. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all being with his family. He served four years in the Navy as a Radio Operator. He worked at Valley Block, Poudre Valley Creamery, UPS, and retired from Douglass Roofing. Walter is survived by his son, Walter, Jr. (Brooke), daughter, LaVon (Jay) Brookhart; his grandchildren that meant the world to him, Danny, Tyler, Kurt, and Kayla; his two sisters, Earlene (Glenn) Erickson and Karen (Royce) Elliot; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; three brothers, Dale, Wayne, and Raymond; two sisters, Cathy and Velma along with others. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
