A Colorado girl through and through describes Viva.
Born to Robert and Pearl Simpson on January 30, 1942, in Greeley, Colorado. She had two siblings, sister Gay Dill and brother, Edward. She graduated from Ault High School and lived a career working at Woodward Governor and Northern Colorado Pulmonary and Infectious Disease.
Viva was married to Norman Paul Neumon who proceeded her in death. Viva is survived by her children, George McCambridge, Jr. and Laura Dart of Fort Collins.
Her retirement years were spent loving and helping to grow grandchildren, Derek Dart and Rebecca Dart and her great grandchildren Pj, Rowan, Dezzeray and Maddox, all of Ft. Collins.
Viva was a giving person who quietly listened and offered support to family and friends. She loved her friends in any social arena. She enjoyed traveling and supporting the needs for transportation and friendship. Viva was an avid bowler for over 50 years, loving both the game and the many friendships found in competition. She enjoyed riding the Casino Bus to Blackhawk and BINGO.
In her earlier years she was a terrific cookie maker and banana bread baker along with her mother Pearl. Her recipe for Davinity is noteworthy. Viva loved the Rocky Mountains, fishing and gardening.
Viva's calm nature will be missed by family and friends, she showed an interest to those around her and left a feeling of friendship and warmth.
The family requests that donations be made to the Northern Colorado Friends of Ferals or Ft. Collins Youth Bowling in Viva's name. The Family would like to thank Canyon Home Care and Hospice for their service and support.
A graveside service will be held 11am, Friday, May 30, 2025 at the Eaton Cemetery, Eaton, CO.
