Virginia A. Seaman passed away May 11, 2009 at 87 years old after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Virginia was born on November 1, 1921 in Beaumont, TX but lived her life in Colorado. She graduated from Wheatridge High School, and later graduated from Colorado A & M College CSU in 1943. Virginia loved the outdoors; fishing, camping and golfing. Virginia's passion was music. She was an accomplished pianist and also played the organ for several local churches. Virginia is survived by her husband of 66 years, Wayne R. Seaman, her best friend and sister, Marion Spicer, her four daughters, Lorna Sweeney, Carol Blanco, Jackie Peterson Lynn, Wendy Bell James, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her greatest joy in life was her family. A funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Pastor Rick Holmlund will officiate at the service. Those who desire may view Mrs. Seaman on Thursday from 12 to 4 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
