Violet Mae Edwards

Violet Mae Schwindt Thompson Wares Edwards, 82, of Fort Collins, died June 15, 2011 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Edwards was born May 14, 1929 in Ault, Colorado to Jake and Elizabeth Schwindt. Violet lived in the Fort Collins area all of her life. She worked at Fashion Bar, Good Will and ARC. Violet enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. Survivors include her sons, Jack Cindy Wares of Ault and Bill Fran Thompson of Severance; daughter, Sharon Roger Schmidt of Fort Collins; eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren. Preceding Violet in death are her parents, Jake and Elizabeth Schwindt, and her brother Clarence. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
