Vincente V. Ayala, 82, of Fort Collins, died Jan. 20, 2008, at his residence. Mr. Ayala was born July 3, 1925, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, to Vincente Ayala and Maria Valdez Ayala. Vincente married Yolanda F. Flores on Dec. 21, 1946, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Mr. Ayala moved in 1950 to Fort Collins. He worked commercial construction and for 13 years at Hewelett-Packard in maintenance. Vincente also achieved a business management degree while living in Mexico. He was a member at Holy Family Catholic Church and loved working in his yard, gardening and dancing. Survivors include his son, Joseph Ayala of Loveland; brother, Humberto Ayala of Chicago, Ill.; sisters, Consuelo Gambles of California, Melda Casas of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and Estella Ybarra of Guadalajara, Mexico; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Preceding Vincente in death are his parents, wife and a son, Francisco Ayala. A Rosary and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Father Damian de la Cruz, C.R. will officiate at the service. Those who desire may view Mr. Ayala from 9 to 4 p.m. today at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
