Velma E. Stewart died in her sleep, April 10, at her home in Loveland Good Samaritan. She was 96 years of age, born August 19, 1912, in Cambridge, Nebraska. Preceeded in death by Chancey Stewart, her husband of 67 years. Survived by son CJ Jim Stewart, of Richmond, VA; daughter Melva Jean Colby and husband Ron Colby of Longmont, CO; and son Ronald Joe Stewart of Boulder, CO; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. No services will be held per Velma's request.
