Valerie was born in Kalkaska Michigan and settled in Loveland Colorado. She was a graduate of Leander High School in Texas and furthered her education in the medical laboratory field helping her support herself and son, working for an engineering degree. I asked her what exactly she did at her job, and her reply was one of her projects included working on a chip in one of our space flights with NASA. She lived most of her adult life on top of a mountain in Belue, Colorado in a beautiful cabin in which her family participated on some of the build. Her most admirable qualities were her non-judgmental attitude and her love for her family and friends. Many friends and family turned to her for advice due to her ability to see through problems and quick trouble shooting with high accuracy. She was a free spirit with a loved to travel, attend plays, and create art.
Valerie is survived by her sisters; Vanessa Hall, Veronica Maldonaldo, Brothers; Lawrence Hall, and Tim Hall.
Many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, step children and grandchildren.
Preceded in death were her mother and father, Larry and Barbara Hall, son Andrew Hall, husband Ed Brown, and sister Cynthia Hall. She continued to mourn her husband and son until her passing.
Earlier in the year she was involved in a serious car accident which hospitalized her for a few months and included rehab to learn to walk and talk again. In the last few months her health issues started increasing and she was in tremendous unrelieved pain. She lost her battle after a courageous fight on July 1.
Valerie will be missed and always be in our heart.
