Tracy Gordon Tate

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy Gordon Tate. Tracy unexpectedly passed peacefully in his sleep on Saturday May 6, 2023, at the young age of 47. Tracy will be deeply missed and forever remembered by so many people that he impacted throughout his life.

Tracy was born on July 24, 1975, to Robert Tate and Olive K Valdez in Denver CO. He graduated from CSU Veterinary school in 2005, and then furthered his career with Chappelle Animal Hospital as a small animal veterinarian where he positively touched not only his four-legged patients, but their humans as well.

Besides being an incredible Veterinarian, Tracy was also an amazing soccer coach and mentor with Arsenal Colorado for the last 25 years. Tracy had a huge impact in the Fort Collins Soccer Community and was loved and respected by so many.

Tracy is survived by his wife Kristen of 24 years, daughter Raina, son Xalen, father Robert, Mother Olive, and brothers Kevin and Jon. He is also survived by extended family, many close friends, the entire soccer community, and all of his four-legged patients.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 3pm, at the Fort Collins Soccer Complex, 3955 NE Frontage Rd., Fort Collins, CO 80524. All are welcome to stop by anytime to share memories, enjoy food and music, and celebrate Tracy.
