Tony Gonzales Salas

Tony Gonzales Salas, 50, of Fort Collins, passed away August 20, 2009 at home. Mr. Salas was born November 5, 1958 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Raul E. Salas and Georgia V. Gonzales Salas. Tony married Laura L. Miranda, February, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tony and Laura had been together for 32 years. Mr. Salas lived in Fort Collins all of his life. He worked at the Fort Collins Housing Authority as a Maintenance Technician. He loved watching sports and played basketball, softball, flag football and pool. Survivors include his wife, Laura L. Salas; sons, Antonio Salas and his wife, Jacqui and Artie Salas; daughter, Angela Salas; grandchildren, Austin Salas, Angelo Salas, Andre Salas, Alana Salas; his mother, Georgia Salas; three brothers, four sisters; in-laws, Juliana and Ernie Miranda, and many nephews and nieces all of Fort Collins. Preceding Tony in death are his father, Raul Salas and brother, Art Salas. A Rosary Service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St Joseph Catholic Church, on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Father Roger Lascelle will officiate at the service.
