Toni A. Ferreira-Ornelas

Toni Antionette Ferreira-Ornelas, 63, of Fort Collins passed away on June 20th, 2026. A private viewing service was held on June 26th, 2026.

Toni was born on October 9th, 1962, in Santa Clara, California. She worked her early years in Silicon Valley. She met her husband in 1990 and moved to Colorado in 1996, which is where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a wife, mother grandmother, Sister (in law), aunt, cousin, friend, and homemaker. Her interests included reading, journaling/writing, watching sci-fi/scary movies and tv shows, crafts, flower drying, jewelry, collecting miniature and vintage items, and collecting anything really. Her collections meant a lot to her. She was a night owl and loved to sleep in or take a nap anytime of the day with her furry companion by her side. She enjoyed talking and interacting with others, to share experiences, stories, and interests. Most of all, she loved her family immensely and loved spending time with them. Her favorite food was Taco Bell, Maggie’s Tacos and she could never resist a sweet treat or soda. Especially late at night, you would find her in the kitchen. Toni was the most selfless, genuine, loving person. She loved her family more than anything. She loved to share and would have given her last to anybody who needed it. She had so much love and compassion to give and never held back. She went with her heart no matter the outcome. She was appreciative of everything and any love she received, she cherished all things both big and small. She was an unquestionably strong woman who faced all of her obstacles with resilience and hope. She never gave up. She always saw the beauty in everything whether a sunrise, sunset, rainstorm, pretty rocks by the river, flowers, animals (her favorite was a cow), signs from her loved ones. She was beautiful inside and out, one of a kind, and left an impact on many. She was funny, had the best laugh and a beautiful smile that lit up any room she was in. To know her is to love her and she will always be remembered and celebrated.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Delores Debar Law and William Debar Law.

She is survived by her husband Robert Ornelas, daughters Samantha Ornelas, Vanessa Ornelas (spouse Eric Mireles), Cassandra Sanchez (spouse Pedro Sanchez), son Christopher Ferreira (spouse Shasta Ferreira), many grandchildren, and two granddoggies.
