Tommy Wayne Scott, a devoted husband, beloved brother, and cherished friend, passed away on May 3, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on May 17, 1960, Tommy was a proud native of Corpus Christi, Texas, and spent his life spreading laughter, warmth, and kindness to all who knew him.
A highly skilled painter by trade, Tommy was known not only for his craftsmanship but also for the passion and precision he brought to his work. His talents took him to many places throughout his life, and he embraced each journey with open arms and a deep appreciation for the world around him. Tommy had a special love for nature—he found peace in the outdoors and made it a priority to spend time camping, exploring, and taking road trips, especially with his beloved wife, Sandra. Married for 20 years, Tommy and Sandra built a life full of adventure, love, and lasting memories.
Tommy planted roots in Fort Collins after his painting work brought him there to help paint the Colorado State University football stadium. Captivated by the area's natural beauty, he chose to make it his home, surrounded by the serenity he loved most. There, he found solace and joy, far from the noise of the world and close to the heart of nature.
He loved to watch his Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, and especially NASCAR racing. Sports were a constant source of joy in Tommy's life—whether he was cheering on his favorite teams or bonding with others over the game, his enthusiasm was contagious.
Tommy also valued the deep friendships he built throughout his life. He was fortunate to be surrounded by friends who looked out for him, stood by him, and shared in many of life's ups and downs. He appreciated their companionship greatly and held their support close to his heart.
He adored his nieces and nephews and was a constant, loving presence in their lives—always ready to lend a helping hand or share a moment of laughter. Those who knew Tommy will remember his adventurous spirit, quick wit, generous heart, and the unwavering support he offered to others.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Sandra Scott; his sisters, Donna Canales and Paula Girnus; and his brother, John Hall. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and countless memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Tommy Wayne Scott will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. In honoring his memory, may we all seek adventure, cherish our loved ones, and live life with the same kindness and joy he so freely gave. Tommy Scott Slideshow.mp4
