Timothy Alan Trujillo, 69, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at his home in Fort Collins, Colorado with his beloved wife, Susi, by his side, surrounded by love.
Timothy was born on May 15, 1956, in Monte Vista, Colorado, to Samuel and Grace Trujillo, who preceded him in death. Throughout his life, Timothy was known for his kind spirit, quick wit, and infectious laugh - one that came easily and often, bringing great joy to those around him. He had a deep love for family and friends, and cherished every opportunity to spend time with them.
Music was one of Timothy's greatest passions. A talented musician, he played guitar and trombone, sang beautifully and loved performing, often in bands throughout the years. Music was ingrained in his life, giving him peace, happiness and connection, whether he was on stage, teaching, singing along to a favorite tune or sharing a song with loved ones.
A devoted Denver Broncos fan, Timothy proudly wore his Broncos gear through every season, celebrating victories and enduring losses with unwavering loyalty. He also enjoyed the excitement and friendly rivalry that fantasy football brought each year.
On October 17, 2013, Timothy married the love of his life, Susanne "Susi" Trujillo. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, companionship and deep affection that defined their years together. They bonded over their shared devotion to family, Broncos games and lively debates over what truly counted as good music – moments that reflected their love, humor and unwavering support for one another.
Above all else, Timothy was devoted to family. He is survived by his loving wife, Susi; his daughter, Janet Victoria Stone; and his stepson, Sven Swanson. He is also survived by his sisters, Janet Warwick (Brad) and Carol Trujillo, and his brother, Sam Trujillo (Robyn). He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Trujillo. Timothy also leaves behind numerous cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever remember his kindness and sense of humor.
Timothy's warmth, strength and spirit will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all those who knew him.
A celebration of Timothy's life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., at the Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
