Tillie R. Mosqueda, formerly of Fort Collins passed away October 20, 2012 at the age of 74, in Gilbert, AZ, where she was comforted by her family and nurses at the Lund Family Hospice Home. Tillie was born June 6, 1938 in Fort Collins to Josephine and Serapio Ramirez. She lived in Fort Collins for almost her entire life. In 2009 she moved to Gilbert, AZ where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Laura and John Crane. On Jan. 30, 1960 she married Steve Mosqueda, her husband and lifelong soul mate. Steve passed in 2008 but not before they shared 48 blessed years of matrimony. Tillie was a homemaker by trade and spent much of her time raising her family. Cooking, baking and crocheting were some of her most loved activities. She always enjoyed the late afternoon company of family and friends. From the four, she gained 26 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is affectionately known by her grandchildren as "Mamas", "Abuelita", and "Grandma". Her passion was her family, with special significance toward her husband. Tillie and Steve loved to travel, watch sporting events, and take long early-evening walks together. Quite simply, many of their proudest moments together were watching their children and grandchildren grow up. Her family looked at her as a role model. She was a pillar of strength for her family and she loved unconditionally. She will be forever remembered as a woman of great faith, wisdom and love. As a 13-year kidney transplant survivor, she appreciated and valued life. She had a high regard for all the medical professionals that assisted her throughout her life. She wanted to extend a special gratitude to doctors Richard Simmons, Theodore Tzeremas, Gautam Kedia, and William Shachtman for their professionalism and care. These doctors will always hold a special place in her family's hearts. Tillie was blessed to spend her final days of life at the Lund Family Hospice Home in Arizona.
