Thomas B. Rueb, 75, of Fort Collins, died October 1, 2013 at a local nursing home. Mr. Rueb was born October 29, 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Raymond G. and Mildred C. Rueb.
Thomas married Ernesta P. Koyama Pangelinan on December 16, 1967 in Saipan. Mr. Rueb has lived in Fort Collins for eleven years, moving here from Washington State. He was a veteran of the US Coast Guard for 23 years. Thomas received the National Defense Service Medal. He attended Seattle University with a degree in Civil Engineering. Thomas worked as a civil engineer. He was involved with Stephen Ministries and Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed model railroading, clock repair, religious studies, canoeing and photography. Survivors include his wife, Ernesta; daughters, Cheryl R. Sheets Ben, Kathleen D. R. Clasby Gary, and Alane "Mickie" M. Chronowski Brad; nephew, Cory J. Rueb, eleven grandchildren, five sisters-in-law, ten brothers-in-law, their wives, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding Thomas in death are his mother, Mildred C. Rueb and father, Raymond G. Rueb and brother, Raymond F. Rueb. A Rosary will be held at Blessed John 23rd University Center, 1220 University Ave on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed John 23rd University Center, 1220 University Ave. on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Father Rocco Porter will officiate at the mass. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area "C", Denver, Colorado. Those who desire may view Mr. Rueb on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
