March 13, 1931 — April 5, 2017

Listen to Obituary
Thomas "Tom" Arthur Jennaway, 86, went home to be with the Lord on April 05, 2017 from a short bout of pancreatic cancer. He was welcomed by a huge family reunion in heaven, we are sure.

Tom was born in Severance, Colorado to Thomas A. and Helen Jennaway on March 13,1931. He served his country faithfully when he went into the army and was honorably discharged in 1961. He enjoyed life out on the farm in LaSalle, Colorado for many years and raised his family there. He married Barbara Martha John and they had one son, Billy and three daughters, Connie, Christine, and Judy. Many wonderful memories were made on that farm, that seems so long ago. Tom eventually sold the farm and started investing in real estate while enjoying time traveling, gambling and loving life.

Barbara went to be with the Lord on November 27, 1987. In time, he met his dear wife, Dorothy "Dottie" Lovato and spent the last 17 years together living life to the fullest. Dottie and his daughter, Judy stood by his side during his illness.

Tom was a good man who treated people with respect, dignity and never said a bad word about anyone. He made the world a better place by being in it. He is a Christian and knows where he was going.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Helen (Webster) Jennaway; wife, Barbara; son, Billie; daughters, Connie and Christine; granddaughter, Melissa; two brothers; sister, Fannie; and several in-laws. He will be missed immensely by all who loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Dottie; mother-in-law, Evon Merritt; daughter, Judy (Bobby Joe) Schwindt; and step-daughter, Shana Sheridan (Scott); grandsons, Richard "Ricky" Earl Graves (Kathryn Rose), Joel (Staci Daniel) Glass, David Graves and his girlfriend TaRene; granddaughter, Crystal Carrizales; great grandsons, Thomas, River and Miles Graves, Wyatt Gentry, Silas Glass, Tyler and Dawson Dixon and Isaiha Carrizales; great granddaughters, Cadereign Graves, Maya Bradley and Jenny Glass Catlynn Carrizales; brother-in-law, Henry (Josie) Merritt; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment with Military Honors by the Fort Collins All Veterans Honor Guard will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Friends may send condolences to the family at bohlenderfuneralchapel.com.
