Listen to Obituary
Theodore Allen Lind was born October 12, 1940, in Windsor, Colorado and he passed away in Fort Collins, Colorado on January 8, 2019 at Poudre Valley Hospital/UC Health. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Rachel Lind and grandson Blake Jones.

After Ted graduated from Windsor High School, he went to work at Forney Industries before his employment with Public Service Co - Xcel Energy. Ted retired from Xcel in 2003, but since he loved to be active and always needed to be busy, he went to work for Rhinnies Small Engine Repair until 2016.

Ted enjoyed riding his bicycle, walking, camping, traveling and researching his family history through his involvement with The Northern Chapter of The Germans from Russia. He was also a former member of The Moose Lodge in Fort Collins.

Ted is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice (Mair) Lind, son Jay (Cortni) Lind, Grandsons, Caleb (Megan) Lind, Isaiah Lind and Ethan Lind all of Lee Summit, MO., daughter Jacque (Todd) Jones, and granddaughter Morgan Jones of Fort Collins, CO., his brother Mike (Karen) Lind and his sister Marlene (Lee) Rothe, and several nieces and nephews.

The family wants to give special thanks to Jonathon with the Volunteers of America, William of the Senior Helpers Organization, and the staff on the 5th floor Medical Unit at Poudre Valley Hospital/UC Health. We are also so appreciative of the support and prayers from our friends and family. Each of you hold a special place in our hearts for the love, care, and time you spent with Ted.

Donations may be made to Lifepointe Church Youth Ministries and will be used for retreat and camp scholarships.

A Memorial Service will be held on February 2, 2019 at 2:00 at Lifepointe Church, 900 East Prospect Rd. Fort Collins, CO
