Teri Caminiti Oberleitner, born October 20, 1968, passed away on October 2, 2026, at Pathways of Northern Colorado in Fort Collins, Colorado. She had a three year battle with cancer, and eventually passed. Her husband, George Oberleitner, was at her side, and made sure that she didn't pass alone or in pain.
Teri was born in Johnson City, New York and lived in Endicott, NY with her parents, where she attended Union-Endicott High School and was a proud member of the UE Tigerettes Cheer Squad. After High School, she attended and Graduated from Empire State College in Syracuse, New York. She graduated from Empire State as the Valedictorian of her class with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business and Administration.

After a successful career in New York, Teri moved to Fort Collins, Colorado to pursue her dream of working in Special Education. She joined the Greeley-Evans School District 6 Special Education Department. Teri worked with families that had children who had Special Needs, these families depended on her to make sure their children got the support and educational opportunities they deserved.
Teri's love of sports and the outdoors was as enormous as her personality. Teri lived for the thrill of a New York Yankees, or San Francisco 49ers game. The pleasure she got from exploring Rocky Mountain National Park was a high as the mountains there.
Every day was an adventure for Teri, and she lived each day to the fullest, anyone who knew her could tell you she was a straight shooter who told it like it was. Her gigantic personality and love for life will be missed by all.
