Listen to Obituary
Tanner Owen Randall, born March 18, 1982 to Owen and Chanda (Walz) Randall, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on the morning of November 29, 2023 in Fort Collins, CO, surrounded by his family.

Tanner was born in Fort Collins and raised in Bellvue, CO with his younger brother, Preston, was a proud Colorado State University graduate, and has called Fort Collins home his entire adult life alongside his wife Nikki Randall and twin boys Hobie and Torin Randall.

Tanner was one-of-a-kind in all the best ways imaginable – he was humble, kind, and selfless. He gave everything his best and did everything well. He was a devoted husband and father, and nothing made him prouder than his two sons and was an amazing mentor and coach for them. He truly loved being with any family, was a loyal friend to many, a brilliant engineer and loyal employee for the City of Loveland, was up for any adventure, and was one of the most talented and graceful skiers on the mountain.

Cancer was a part of Tanners journey, starting at 20 months of age, but that never defined who he was or how he lived. Many with whom he interfaced would have never know what he had endured. Tanner was the epitome of living life to the fullest, and a shining example of always choosing joy. Tanner faced every challenge in life, especially his recent three-year cancer journey with the utmost courage, strength, and steadfast faith, with his entire family by his side. The heart of warrior undeniably shone through amidst his enduring tenacity for life. Perhaps his greatest accomplishment, one of the few things of which he'd boast, was Tanner's choice to follow Jesus Christ as a young child, a path he lived out his entire life. He truly walked the walk, and his testimony naturally had a vast influence on countless others. There are no words to accurately capture the extent of Tanner's impact, which is sure to remain in the lives of family, friends, coworkers, healthcare providers, and even strangers.

Tanner is survived by his wife of 17 years, Nikki (Trzcinski) Randall, and his sons Hobie and Torin Randall; his parents Owen and Chanda (Walz) Randall; brother Preston (Amanda) Randall, and nephews Timber and Bridger Randall; parents-in-law Jim & Shauna Trzcinski; brother-in-law Elliot (Alanna) Trzcinski, and nieces Lily and Mia Trzcinski; Nikki's grandmother Flora Schauerman; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tanner is preceded in death by his grandparents Willis & Marvel Randall and Harlen & Lois Walz.
