Tammara Sue Basden Smith, 51, of Fort Collins, passed away February 7, 2012. Tammie was born July 4, 1960 in Rawlins, Wyoming to Eddie and Elva Adams Basden. Tammie was raised in Rawlins, Wyoming. She moved to Steamboat and graduated from Steamboat High School in 1978. She attended and graduated from Nursing School at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona. This is where she met Charles Smith whom she married in June of 1985 in Oak Creek, Colorado. Tammie and Chuck moved to Fort Collins, Colorado in 1984. They had two children, Jamie and Marshall. Tammie was a R.N. and had worked at several places including Poudre Valley Hospital and Associates in Family Medicine in Fort Collins. Most recently she was employed at Interim HealthCare. Tammie's newest hobby was riding her Harley Davidson. She enjoyed traveling; Mexico was one of her favorite destinations. She also had the privilege of traveling to Paris, France and London, England. Tammie was able to combine her love of motorcycles and traveling by going on the Hogs on the High Seas Biker Rally cruise. She loved spending time with family and friends. She never said "no" to anyone in need. She recently began volunteering at the Fort Collins Mission. Her dog, Maggie, and cat, Bonzi, were never far from her side. Survivors include her daughter, Jamie Michelle Smith, son, Marshall Eugene Smith; both of Fort Collins. She is also survived by many relatives and close friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Timberline Church, 2908 S.
