Listen to Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Suzie Ahn Loader, who left us peacefully with her husband and son by her side on August 4th, 2024, in Greeley, Colorado, at the age of 82.

Suzie, originally named Dong Sook Ahn, was born on July 21st, 1942, in Seoul, Korea, to Kunsoo Ahn and Chun Su Kwak. Her early years in Korea were marked by a vibrant spirit and a deep love for the arts. A graduate of Ewha Women's University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts, Suzie's artistic journey continued as she pursued further studies in Fashion and Design.

In 1978, Suzie embarked on a new adventure by immigrating to the United States. Her creativity and skill as a seamstress blossomed, alongside her love for the outdoors, camping, dancing, exercising, and lifting weights.

She was blessed with three children, a daughter (Chong) and son (Choi) in Korea, and a son (Allen) in the United States. Suzie's family was her greatest joy.

In September of 1996, Suzie married Robert Kevin Loader, and together they made a warm and loving home in Rock Springs, Wyoming. In Rock Springs she loved spending time and making friends at the Family Recreation Center while swimming and working out. In recent years she made her home with Robert in Ault, Colorado. Her family would grow to include adoring grandchildren, and it was here where she shared countless precious moments.

Suzie's legacy is one of grace, creativity, and an unwavering devotion to her loved ones. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be greatly missed and remembered always.

She is survived by her cherished husband, Robert Loader; her children Allen (Tracy) Stefanik of Timnath, CO, Chong (Andrew) Biggerstaff of Douglasville, GA, and Choi Huck Su of Seoul, Korea; her grandchildren Savannah and Maddox Stefanik of Timnath, CO, and Nicky Biggerstaff of Douglasville, GA; her brother Dong Hwa of Seoul, Korea; her sister in law Louise Oyama Ahn of Stoughton, WI, and her nieces and nephew Jimmy Ahn of Stoughton, WI, Nancy Ahn of Stoughton, WI, and Susan Ahn of Phoenix, AZ.

Suzie was preceded in death by her parents, Kunsoo Ahn and Chun Su Kwak, as well as her brothers; Dong Min Ahn, Dong Bang Ahn (Don), Dong Kuk Ahn (Don), and her sister Dong Won Ahn (Chris).

A service to honor Suzie's life will be held on Friday, September 13th, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Bohlander Funeral Home followed by burial at Grandview Cemetery in Fort Collins, CO.

Following the service, a Celebration of Suzie's Life will take place at the home of Allen and Tracy Stefanik, 6659 Pebble Path Ct, Timnath, CO.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to support youth swimming. (Hope Floats Foundation www.hopefloats.foundation ).
