Suzanne Marie Morgenstern Yoder, 52, of Windsor, lost her battle with cancer and passed away on Saturday July 24, 2021. She passed peacefully at home in Windsor, CO surrounded by family. She was born in Gunnison, CO on October 15, 1968, the second daughter of Ronald Keith Morgenstern and Janelda Gay (Eike) Morgenstern.
Suzanne graduated from Aurora Central High School and received her undergraduate degree in Communications from Colorado University. She worked in marketing and finance.
In her younger years, Suzanne was a competitive synchronized swimmer in the Junior Olympics, a Regional Reserve Champion in Equestrian Combined Training, and a Girl's State Representative for her high school class.
Suzanne's lifelong passion was for animals. Along with riding horses competitively she always had pet dogs, cats, and rabbits. She donated regularly to causes that cared for them. Some of her favorite animals were elephants. However, she gravitated toward animals of all kinds and enthusiastically enjoyed each of them.
Suzanne also loved to travel and enjoyed scuba diving. She and her husband traveled abroad regularly and were blessed to visit many countries and cultures around the world. Many of these adventures included visits with animals and scuba diving in the region.
Suzanne is survived and loved by her husband, Bradley Lynn Yoder; her father Ronald Keith Morgenstern; her mother Janelda (Eike) Morgenstern; her sister April (Morgenstern) O'Loughlin; her mother-in-law, Eva (Beitzel) Yoder; her brother-in-law Chester Yoder (Patricia), brother-in-law Millard Yoder (Judy); her nieces Grace O'Loughlin and Kristy Yoder; her nephews Jack O'Loughlin, Sam O'Loughlin, Shane Yoder (Chrissy), Corey Yoder (Hillary), Derek Yoder (Courtney).
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 4 – 6pm at the Pelican Lakes Golf Club at 1600 Pelican Lakes Point, Windsor, CO. The family is requesting that attendees RSVP at
