Steven Scott Cameron, 63, of Fort Collins, died December 10, 2010 at Berthoud Living Center, Berthoud, Colorado. Mr. Cameron was born November 19, 1947 in Sioux City, Iowa to Luverne and Electa Baur Cameron. They moved to Colorado in 1959. Steven graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1965. He entered the Army in 1967. Steven married Mary Kay Waag in 1968 and had a daughter, Melanie Lelani Lamaat. They opened a health food store, ?Naturally,? in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He then married Lynelle Scatterday in 1977 and adopted her son, Jeremy. Steven was attacked and beaten in an armed robbery in 1989 while working as a security guard. He was permanently disabled as a result of his injuries. He became a member of Clan Cameron of North America in 1998. He loved woodworking, camping, music, and people. Steven never met a stranger. He will be remembered for his gentle heart and ever present smile. Survivors include; his mother, Electa Cameron; his children, Melanie and Jeremy; his nephew, Mark Cameron; his niece, Marsha Schultze; his Aunt Arlene and numerous cousins. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, 12:00 p.m. at Grandview Cemetery.
