Listen to Obituary
Stephanie Klug, Stef, Stephie, Carl, Excellent Snow, 22, of Fort Collins died August 13, 2016. Stephanie was born August 2, 1994 at Poudre Valley Hospital to Neal Klug, Jeanette Hayes and Anne Graves. She was the sister of Kerstin Hitchcock; sister-in-law of Joe Hitchcock; granddaughter of Jeanine and Norman Fortun, Gary Hayes, and LeRoy and Charlotte Klug, who preceded her in death; niece of Sandy and Greg O'dell, Eric and Christie Hayes, and Roger Klug; cousins, Trevor Hayes, Neal Klug and Nathan Klug; and partner of Trevor Ellis
She was a friend to many.

Stephanie graduated from Poudre Transition Center. She also attended many other high schools in Ft. Collins, just to see what they were like.

Steph loved working at the Theatrical costume shop, it was her dream career. Her superior ability to dress and make up her customers, and the grateful thanks she received from them, encouraged her to look forward to owning such a business for herself in the future. Steph always excelled at creativity whether it be art, drawing, floral design, expressing complements or just giving you a hug to make you feel better. She was full of love…she loved her cats, Ftitz and Olaf; her dogs, Henry and Rudy; driving; and something very important, she loved coffee. She loved her family and friends, especially her boyfriend, Trevor.

Throughout the short time we were privileged to spend with Steph she participated in many activities; she was a competitive ice skater (she won a trophy at age seven), she rode a dirt bike like nobody's business, she was an excellent rock climber (ask her dad), a strong skier, swimmer, and overall outdoors woman. She was an excellent photographer, repurposer and recycler (ask her many friends). Steph was a volunteer at CSU working with animals, she always had the time and compassion to find the good and beauty in people who were often ignored. She reached out to help constantly.

Steph was a bright, shooting star in this world. We are going to miss her more than words can express.

Godspeed Steph, Godspeed.
