Stephanie S. Howland, 38, of Ft. Collins passed away at home on August 24, 2016 surrounded by loved ones following her courageous battle with cancer. Stephanie was born April 29, 1978 in Northridge, California to Marvin Goldsmith and Patricia Hemmer Goldsmith.
In 2001 Stephanie graduated from Western State College. She married Michael Howland on May 14, 2001 in Gunnison, Colorado. After they were married they moved to Fort Collins where they had both of their children. She loved camping, photography, volunteering at her children's school, music, Bible study, and spending time with her family. Stephanie was a dedicated mother, daughter, sister, and friend to many. She was very strong in her faith, and she was known for her kind and gentle spirit.
Survivors include her husband, Mike, and two children, John Michael and Madelyn Ann Howland, all of Ft. Collins; her parents, Marvin and Patricia Goldsmith of Lexington, Nebraska; two brothers, Gregory Goldsmith of Denver and Jeffrey Goldsmith of Montana.
A celebration of life will be held 5:30 p.m., Friday, September 2, at First Presbyterian Church, 531 S. College with a reception to follow.
