Stanley is survived by his nieces Vicki Albert and Christine Jencks, Annie Perez and adopted family Sam Hernandez (son), Phillip Hernandez (grandson), Alysa Laney (granddaughter), Jim Laney (grandson), and numerous other nieces and nephews.
He was the last World War II Veteran with a lifetime membership of the Ft. Collins VFW Chapter and leaves many treasured friends of this distinguished "band of brothers".
He is also leaving many friends and neighbors and co-workers from CSU, and Walmart whom he cherished as dear friends.
On Monday, May 15, 2023, a 9:30 am Mass for Stanley will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 300 W. Mountain Ave., Fort Collins, CO 80521.
A Military Interment at Roselawn Cemetery located at 2718 E. Mulberry St., Ft. Collins 80524, will immediately follow the Mass.
A reception will be held to celebrate the life of this great man at 1:00 pm at the VFW Post 1781, 603 Lesser Drive, Fort Collins 80524.
