Stanley Glenn left this earth June 7th. We rest in the comfort knowing he is with our Lord Jesus. Stan was 'everyman', a man of whom we might say 'He was a salt of the earth man; a practical, cheerful and content man. He loved the outdoors and especially fishing, but he was devoted to his family even more'. Stanley was born October 21, 1934 in Fort Morgan, Colorado, to Shores and Estella Glenn. He grew up in Fort Collins where he worked a variety of jobs including backcountry guide, tree surgeon and finally owner of his own business, A-1 Sanitation Service. He married Shirley Spight on September 19, 1953. They shared life together for 63 years. They were blessed with 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Stanley was preceded in death by his elder brother and sister, his son Thomas, and great grandson Justin. Survivors include his wife Shirley, his daughters Marcia and Susan, as well as 3 sisters, Stella, Ann, and Jean. Anyone who wishes to participate in Stanley's Celebration of Life is welcome to attend. The Celebration of Life will be held June 17, 2017 from 11am -3pm at the home of Dan and Becki Dreiling at 734 Victoria Drive, Fort Collins.
