Jean Shirley Fidino Charvat went to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 16, 2024. She was born November 27, 1929 to Frank and Goldie Fidino in Denver Colorado. The family moved to Fort Collins when she was 3. Jean graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1949. She stayed in contact with some of her classmates throughout her life.

Jean married Leslie Clair Charvat Senior on August 23, 1950. To this union 5 children were born. In high school Jean's 1st job was at the movie theater, she loved telling stories about working there. Les and his Father owned Charvat's Grocery Store. Jean helped out at the store while raising the family. She went to work at CSU for 21 years as a housekeeper. She enjoyed babysitting grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and friend's children through the years. She stayed busy whether cooking, baking, cleaning and yard work.

She enjoyed family and always hosted Christmas Eve! The house was packed and everyone enjoyed being together. On any given day family loved gathering at Grandma's house. She always had a meal and plenty for how ever many came! Her family was her pride and joy! When you'd call she would say "What's going on?" She truly cared. She would tell you "every thing is ok here". If she could talk to us today from Heaven she'd say "Everything is OK here!
