Sean Lee Stevens' was born on November 28th, 1978, and passed away peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by his family and favorite belongings, on October 23, 2022. Sean was preceded in death by his father Ron Stevens and survived by his mother Kitty Stevens, brother Eric Stevens, niece Bailey Stevens, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sean grew up in Greeley, CO and graduated from Greeley West High School. He was currently living in Fort Collins, CO.
During Sean's life he was challenged by many health and occasional behavior issues but he always found joy in his life. When asked how he felt, Sean always said "I'm good" and rarely complained even during his multiple hospitalizations. Sean liked to be called "Big Sean" and was often referred to by others as the "Gentle Giant".
Sean loved his family, his pets, and sports (especially the Denver Broncos and Colorado Avalanche). He participated in bowling and basketball through Special Olympics for many years. Sean's favorite activities were watching "Heartland" on Netflix, watching sports, playing Bingo and card games, and visiting with family members. Sean was loved unconditionally by his family and returned that love unconditionally. His love, smile, and quirky sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Sean's generosity continued beyond his passing by being an organ and tissue donor.
