Sean Christopher McGill, born on September 18, 1967, in Rochester, New York, passed away on January 27, 2025, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Sean was the cherished son of Bruce and Susan McGill and grew up alongside his younger brother, Troy McGill. His family lived in Rochester until Sean was 8, then the family relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado. He graduated from Fort Collins High School in 1985. Sean pursued higher education at the University of Colorado at Boulder, earning both his undergraduate degree and law degree, which laid the groundwork for a distinguished legal career.
For over twenty years, Sean served as an attorney in Larimer County, where he demonstrated unwavering dedication to his profession and community. In recent years, he continued his legal work as an attorney for the District of Columbia, further exemplifying his commitment to justice and public service.
Above all else, Sean was a devoted father to his two sons, Keenan and Quinn McGill, who were the greatest joys of his life. He is survived by both of his parents, his brother and his family, and his children.
May he be remembered for his sense of humor, his uncanny ability to win nearly every card and board game, and his love for his family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at Bohlender Funeral Home on March 8, 2025.
