Scott G. Piotrowski, 54, of Ft. Collins passed away on March 3rd, 2026 after a long battle with cancer, with his loving daughters, mother, and brother at his side. His unwavering strength and perseverance throughout his cancer journey will not be forgotten.

Scott was born on March 8th, 1971 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Scott attended college at Grand Valley State University. After graduating he spent a few years in Alaska as a fishery monitor, spending weeks at a time at sea. Shortly after relocating to Fort Collins in 1995, he began a career with Rexel Electrical Supply. Scott started out as a warehouse worker. He earned promotions to branch operations manager, assistant branch manager and regional operations and safety manager. Scott was a colleague, a leader, and most importantly a dear friend to his work associates. He positively impacted many people locally and across the country with his knowledge, expertise and willingness to always help.

Outside of his career, Scott maintained a love for animals and the natural world throughout his life. He passed this passion on to his daughters, and loved to set up his bird feeders each spring. He also never forgot his Michigan roots. Forever a fan of Detroit sports, Scott was known as a "wingnut" in Colorado and never gave up hope for the Lions. He was an avid reader and appreciator of good music, especially classic rock from the 70s and 80s. He introduced his daughters to countless beloved books, movies, and TV shows. His friends will fondly remember his long term commitment to his fantasy football league, his love of card games, and his intelligent, kind spirit.

Scott is survived by his daughters Abigail and Lelani, brother Jason, mother Terri and stepfather Dean. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley. He will be remembered as a dedicated and loving father who made his daughters a priority in his life, and a caring son and brother. In addition he will be missed by his Rexel family, and many others who had the privilege of calling him a friend.
