Scott Edward Dobbs of Fort Collins, Colorado passed away in his home on January 13, 2018. Scott was born to Audrey and Edward Dobbs on July 19, 1953 in Mercer County Hospital in Aledo, Illinois. He attended grade school through high school in Aledo. During his high school years Scott spent time working at the family owned drug store Babcock Pharmacy along side his grandfather and father. He then went on to graduate college at Western Illinois University receiving a Masters' Degree in Fine Arts. Scott applied his artistic talents in many successful endeavors in Florida and Georgia from the newspaper business, advertising, sales, real estate and his own media design company, Dobbs Design. Scott was married to former wife Barbara from 1989-1996. His last artistic project was a series of paintings commemorating the Lewis and Clark expedition, exhibited at the Booth Western Art Museum.
Scott loved and played the game of golf, was a history buff, and a skilled photographer. From an early age Scott loved baseball, and he followed it his whole life. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan, and was so happy to see the Cubs take the World Series in 2016.
Scott moved to Fort Collins in 2005 to be close to family. He enjoyed all holiday and family celebrations with the ones who loved him so dearly. Scott is survived by his sister Patti Meneghin and husband Bruce of Fort Collins, his niece Maggie Meneghin and husband Cole Jones of Harrisburg, Oregon.
There will be a private celebration of Scott's life at a later date.
