Our mother, grandmother, companion, and friend passed peacefully into the realms of light in the late evening hours of Monday, April 18, 2022. Sarah E. Stever "Witty" (born March 13, 1938) has resided in Fort Collins, Colorado for the past 60 years.
She is survived by her three children; Michaelene McCulloch and spouse Richard McCulloch, Patrick Stever and spouse Diane Stever, and Kit Stever and her companion Danny White; sisters Cecilia Bartholemew, Peggy Wallman and Toni Kingery; grandchildren Jenni, Seth, Sean, Katie, Samantha, Jake, and Emma; and greatgrandchildren Autumn, Kennedy, and Brooks. And (the love of her life), John Wilkens.
Preceding Sarah are her parents, Cecil and Janice Witty; sister Marylee Witty; and brother Ronald Witty.
We will miss her greatly. Her kindness, humbleness, and that beautiful smile will be forever imprinted on our hearts. We love you mama, little Sarah. We'll be seeing you again in eternity. We know you'll be yodeling with the angels. Peace, beautiful lady.
Sarah will be laid to rest in her hometown of Nebraska City, NE amongst all her beloved family. Gudy Mortuary will be taking care of all arrangements in Nebraska City. Any cards, flowers or donations (Pathways Hospice) can be sent to Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive St., Fort Collins CO 80524.
