Sandra "Sandy" Smith, 69, of Bonner Peak Ranch passed away on July 16, 2021 at Medical Center of the Rockies. Sandy was born September 20, 1951 in Oakland, California to Ray and Ruth Pool.
Sandy married Larry Smith in 1991. She and Larry designed and built their home together at Bonner Peak and have lived there the past 27 years.
Sandy worked many years at Poudre Valley Hospital and the Breast Diagnostic Center in the radiology department. She enjoyed gardening and in the past, riding her horse Tempe, scuba diving, and skiing.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Smith of Bonner Peak, and her cousin Debbie Moore and her husband Jerry of Mason, Ohio., and her Shit-zhu, Bella.
A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Immediately following the service a Celebration of Sandy's life will continue at Ace Gillett's Lounge, below the Armstrong Hotel, 239 S. College Ave., Fort Collins.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Children's Hospital Colorado Foundation in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W. Olive, Ft. Collins, CO 80524.
