Sandra M. Gibson

Sandra Gibson, age 73, of Felton, DE formerly of Ft. Collins, CO passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Sandra was born in Bayard, Nebraska on December 3, daughter of the late Herman and Emily Salzman. She graduated from Fort Collins High School and retired from the City of Fort Collins where she worked as a Fraud Investigator and Hostage Negotiator for
28 years. She was a strong, courageous, loving, and independent woman who was dedicated to her family. Survivors include her brother, Richard Salzman and wife Joan, her son Steve Givens, her daughter Kathy Carpenter and her daughter Cyndi Bonin and husband David, her grandchildren, Brad Givens, Kelly Dill, Sarah Polis, Angel Carpenter, Vanessa Carpenter, Nikkye Bonin and Rachel Bonin, her great grandchildren, Tommy Young and Jesse Hopkins. A Memorial Service will be held at 10am, August 21, 2010 at Timberline Church, 2908 S. Timberline Rd., Ft. Collins, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sandra's name may be made to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, 4701 Ogletown-Stanton Rd., Newark, DE 19713
