Sally Montgomery Davis died April 25 in Colorado Springs Colorado. Sally was born on March 7, 1936 in Wyoming to Elizabeth A Rutz and Howard R Montgomery. The family moved back to Windsor in 1938 where Sally was raised by her mother. Sally was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, William Davis of Baltimore, Maryland. She is survived by her brother, Howard Montgomery (Karen) of Seeley, Montana; nephews Howard Lee of Ramona, California; Robert Montgomery (Tina) of Sidney, Montana; Thomas Montgomery (Paula) of Seeley Lake, Montana; niece Michele Montgomery of Ramona, California, and two stepchildren: Traci Davis of Phoenix, Maryland and William Davis Jr (Lisa) of Parkton, Maryland.

Sally graduated from Windsor High School in 1954. After graduation, she joined the Navy and left for the East Coast after she was assigned to the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. After her discharge, she moved to New York City where she met William "Bill" Davis. She married Bill and moved to Baltimore where they enjoyed forty years of marriage.

Sally loved to travel and she often spoke about her trips with Bill to Kenya, Egypt and other exotic destinations. She truly loved life! We will remember her stories and her appreciation for beautiful things. She was very proud of her German-Russian heritage and was a member of the American Society of German-Russians.

There will be a private burial at Lake Shore Cemetery in Windsor. Donations can be made to the ASVAB Prep Program at Mile High Education Services: https://www.milehigheducation.org/s/shop , which helps young people pass the military entrance test and enlist in the Navy.
