Ruth White

Ruth C. White, 95, of Fort Collins, died Aug. 4, 2006 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. White was born April 12, 1911 in Omaha, Neb. to Stefan William Stefan and Louise Weber Stefan . Ruth married Harold A. White on Sept. 29, 1934 in Sidney, Iowa. They moved to Fort Collins in 1976 after traveling in construction. She was a homemaker who loved gardening, reading, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a special way of making everyone her friend Survivors include three sons, Bob White and his wife, Peggy Milano of Fort Collins, Bill White and his wife Cynthia of Lampasas, Texas, and Rich White and his wife Connie of Victoria, Minn.; one daughter, Phyllis Dalla Betta and her husband George of Trinidad; a brother, Karl Stefan of Fort Collins; one sister, Catherine Logue of Canon City; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband and recently by a grandson, Jesse Dalla Betta. A Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Father Don Willette will be officiating at the services.
