Ruth M. Samuelson

Ruth M. Samuelson, 84, of Fort Collins, died January 26, 2012 at Poudre Valley Hospital. Mrs. Samuelson was born March 16, 1927 in Phillipsburg, Kansas to George Nathan and Minnie "Hecht" Williams. Ruth married LaVern N. Samuelson on March 28, 1946 in Smith Center, Kansas. LaVern preceded her in death in 1994. Mrs. Samuelson moved to Fort Collins from Nebraska in 1958. Survivors include her son, Norris Samuelson of Fort Collins; daughter, Charlotte Berg of Fort Collins, sisters, Gladys Norton of Fort Collins and Ardys Young of Lincoln, Nebraska; 3 grandchildren, Krystal Johnson, Jessie Samuelson, Amber Piester; 6 great-grandchildren and another great grandchild on the way. Preceding Ruth in death are her parents and her husband. A Funeral Service will be held at Bohlender Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. Those who desire may view Mrs. Samuelson from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel.
