Ruth Mae Ryan passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Poudre Valley Hospital of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease. She was born in Excelsior Springs, Mo., on August 21, 1952 to Fred and Edith O'Hare. She lived there until 1979, when she moved to Fort Collins. She met her perfect match in 1988 and married him, Randy Ryan, in June 1990. They brought together three girls, RayAnn, Brandi and Jennifer. She worked for Mountain Be1l/US WEST/QWEST for over 30 years. Most recently, she was working at Front Range Brain and Spine in Fort Collins. She was a beautiful person who was loved by everyone who knew her. She had a contagious smile and loved to laugh and do practical jokes. She was a wonderful mother and wife and an even better Grammy. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred O'Hare, and her brother, Dennis Stevenson. She is survived by her mother, Edith O'Hare; her husband, Randy Ryan; her daughter, RayAnn Roskop; and her step daughters, Brandi Ryan and Jennifer Kooienga. She is also survived by eight almost nine grand children; son-in-laws; and several cousins; and many friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 1 p.m. at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Donations can be made to the Ruth Ryan Memorial Fund in care of Bohlender Funeral Chapel, 121 W.
