Ruth Meyer

Oct. 14, 1917, to Apri1 4, 2007, Salem, Ore. Ruth L. Meyer, 89, passed into her Heavenly Father's arms April 4, 2007. She was born in Nevada, Mo. She and her husband, John C. Meyer, lived in the Fort Collins area, Grand Lake, Brookings, Ore., then in Fort Collins again for a number of years. They then moved to Salem, Ore., in 1988 to be near their children. Ruth is survived by a daughter, Ruthe Karns Patrick of Salem; and a son, John W. Meyer Tina, of Albany, Ore.; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Utopa and Rosie Elliott; 14 siblings; her husband, John; and a baby daughter, Rosemary. Funeral will be at l p.m. Thursday at Bohlender Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. The Rev. Paul McGraw will officiate at the services.
